Can dentures be repaired?

Dentures in Topeka can be repaired by your dentist at Topeka Dentistry. However, if your dentures are severely ill-fitting or damaged, we may need to replace them.

Dentures must be adjusted or repaired occasionally to ensure optimal comfort and function. Plus, the mouth changes over time, and your dentures need to change with it. Denture adjustments and repairs often involve fixing fit, comfort, and minor damage like a fractured or missing tooth.

If your dentures are damaged, loose, or uncomfortable, we recommend immediately informing your dentist. Doing so helps you avoid additional damage to your mouth or dentures, oral pain, and soft tissue irritation.

Denture repair or adjustment can take one or more appointments, depending on the situation. During your visit, we can modify the denture to conform to your mouth's grooves and contours, providing a more secure and lifelike fit. You don't have to suffer through wearing ill-fitting dentures; we're here to help you!
